The SunflowerBiz Category Password Limit Module allows you to restrict customers' access to a category or subcategory by setting a password. 

 

After enabling our module and setting a password for a category or subcategory on the category management page, this specific category or subcategory will require a password to view on the front page. When a customer is trying to view a password-protected category or subcategory on the frontend, it will display a note “Please enter a password to view this category.”. After entering the correct password, customers can continue to view this category or subcategory.

 

If one product belongs to multi categories or sub-categories, please set a password for all related categories and subcategories.

Installation:

  • Install the module in admin->extension installer
  • Refresh the modification cache after installation. 
  • Enable the module in the module list.
 
Note:
  • You can define the text in catalog/language/english/module/category_password.php.
  • For other languages, please copy it to /catalog/language/[Your Language]/module/category_password.php
