[Opencart] Category Payment Limit

 

The SunflowerBiz Category Payment Limit Module allows you to restrict payment methods based on categories. You can assign a payment method for each category on the category management page. Also, you can set the rules when customers are trying to purchase products from categories assigned with different payment methods.

 

 

We offer 2 options  to set the payment rules: 

 

1) When categories assigned to the same Payment Methods

 

2) When categories NOT assigned to the same Payment Methods 

 

 

Option1

 

When categories assigned to the same Payment Methods, you have two options:

 

1. Only display the same Payment Methods.
2. Display all Payment Methods assigned to the categories.

 

 

For example,

 

Add products from Category A and Category B to the cart

 

Category A assigned with Payment A and Payment B

 

Category B assigned with Payment A and Payment C

 

Payment A is the same payment method.

 

If you choose Only display the same Payment Methods, it will display Payment A when checkout.

 

If you choose to Display all Category Payment Methods, it will display Payment A, B, and C when checkout.

 

 

Option 2

 

When categories NOT assigned to the same Payment Methods, you have two options:

 

1. Do not display any payment methods.
2. Display predefined payment methods. 

 

 

For example, 

 

Add products from Category A and Category B to the cart,

 

Category A assigned with Payment A

 

Category B assigned with Payment B

 

 

If you choose Do not display any Payment Methods, it will not display any payment methods.

 

If you choose to Display the Predefined Payment Methods, it will display predefined payment methods as you set when checkout.

 

 

One note, our module doesn't change how your existing payment method works. 

 

 

Configuration

 

1. Assign payment methods to a category.

 

 

 

2. Set the payment rules.

• Upload the whole module zip file in admin->extension installer
• Refresh the modification and theme cache after installation. 
• Enable this module in the module list.
